Environmental Problems
One quiet Sunday afternoon,
I was trying to convince my friend,
About the coming doom and gloom,
And our world, coming to an end
Read this poem and you will see,
How my friend would disagree with me
“What about vast pollution?”
“Coal is our best solution”
“What about deforestation?”
“This is prime, real estate, location”
“What about animal extinction?“
“Stop casing lifestyle contradiction”
“What about climate change?”
“You are very very strange”
“What about melting arctic ice?”
“I want the heat of paradise”
“What about dirty oil?”
“We need to fertilize our soil”
“What about forest trees?”
“They will die from plant disease”
“What about habitat destruction?”
“We have modern mass production”
“What about animal rights?”
“They are cruel parasites”
“What about cruel poaching?”
“Beware, the tigers are approaching”
“What about water contamination?”
“Plastic is good for our nation”
“What about overfishing?”
“You be careful what you are wishing”
“We really need a carbon tax”
“You noise will feel my ears with wax”
“Endangered animals are rare”
“I have no time to spare”
“Leave me alone you crazy pest,
I am tired and need a rest”
